7 Months...

Little Man turned 7 months last Monday.  I can't believe he's over halfway to his birthday.

At 7 months, Spencer...
-weighs 16 lbs. 8 oz. and is 27 inches long
-has two bottom teeth (they came in Christmas Day)
-rolls here, there, and everywhere
-LOVES his big sisters, especially when they make him laugh
-is trying so very hard to crawl, but can't quite do it
-has such a fun laugh and the sweetest smile
-still doesn't sleep through the night (big sigh)
-is an extrememly talented rattle-shaker.

I can't express how in love I am with my little boy.
First thing in the morning when I pick him up he wraps his little arms around my neck and squeezes me.  Totally the best way to start my day.

Mini Me...

My Kaitlyn turned 5 at the end of January.
I can't believe how fast time seems to fly these days.
She had a party with lots of friends.  I was so thankful for the bounce house that day!
(And only one bloody lip.  Not too shabby.)
There are days when Kaitlyn is my most challenging child, but other days when she's the easiest.  I guess that's how life goes when you have more than one child.

What I love about Kaitlyn:
-her big blue eyes
-how much she loves to help her little brother
-the amazing way she observes the world around her
-how incredibly smart she is
-the prayers she says
-how loving and cuddly she is
-her imagination
-her laugh
-how beautiful she is.

It's impossible for me to ever list everything I love about my children since it changes daily.
We have been so blessed to have Kaitlyn in our family.  She was such a wonderful, easygoing baby and she has become a fun little girl.
As much as I'd like time to go a bit more slowly, I can't wait to see what an amazing young woman Kaitlyn will be.
I love you my Kaitlyn Paisley!

As I am writing this Little Man is on his hands and knees, trying with all his might to move.  You know, rocking back and forth?
Am I ready for full mobility?
No.
I guess I'd better get started on baby-proofing the house.
